"Yes, you need to train your legs but it is really your brain that dictate your pace". MOTT FITZGERALD.
The RUNNER WORLD, "Think fast". October 2008.

The brain training is the bridge stone for any sport or fitness as the brain makes PLAN, SPEED, SYNCHRONIZATION and EXECUTION of muscles contraction.
                        The Physiology.

REFLEX ACTION APPROACH IN EXERCISING AND FITNESS                            The REFLEX ACTION exercises for training brain and speed of sport action has a potential to establish a new standard for fitness and sport training.                                                                                                                                                                   My system is based on common facts which are hundreds of years old. Take, for example, the doctor hits the knee with small medical hammer. The leg should jerk up quickly and automatically. This is a typical REFLEX ACTION. The neurophysiology describes it as the following: the energy of the hammer disturbs the knee sensors (proprioceptors) which convert the kinetic energy of the hammer into the action potentials of our nervous system which are electrical impulses -70 m. volts This action potentials run to our spinal cord and from there guided by its primary motor center return to the leg muscles and stimulate them for contraction i.e. jerked automatically. It does not need the energy of the brain cortex i.e. a person is not consciously decided to jerk the leg. If a doctor will hit the knee once per second for 10 minutes the leg muscles will thus be contracted once per second 10 minutes. This 10 minutes exercises of leg muscles DOES NOT REQUIRE BRAIN ENERGY and MOTIVATION because we do not consciously have to decide whether to jerk the leg.                                                                                                                                                        My revolutionary REFLEX ACTION system utilizes exercises where the sensors of your body send thousands of signals (action potentials) per second causing the proper muscle contractions using neither brain energy nor willpower to perform the exercises. This, in a nutshell, is the REFLEX ACTION approach to fitness and exercises.
In an any DIRECT ACTION it is necessary for the brain in its consciousness to create the virtual goal, to use some factors as motivation, to provide program for muscles contractions and implement it in physical actions (muscle contraction) using the ENERGY OF THE BRAIN CORTEX. The motivation takes place when a person images the goal in his consciousness. Therefore the MOTIVATION is the product of the CONSCIOUSNESS. The excitation of the cortex is where our consciousness creates the energy for all human actions including muscle contractions. When the daily energy of the cortex is spent by a person for his life support activity during the working day, he has no additional energy for anything including fitness in DIRECT ACTION. However he can train himself in the REFLEX ACTION on the automatic reflex base without using the brain energy.                                                                                                                  Look around! ALL LIVING CREATURES IN THE WORLD DO NOT HAVE CONSCIOUSNESS except human. All of them use the REFLEX ACTION to keep them in physical shape and they do not need motivation for their survival. Reflexes are the most elementary form of nervous action and govern much of the motor behavior of living animals and human.
Developing the theory of REFLEX ACTION for fitness and brain training I have created several hundred special exercises, which are described in my book, made dozen sketches of new fitness machines and I made 15 patent applications for REFLEX ACTION fitness equipment. The market for REFLEX ACTION applications embrace ALL age and social groups: children to senior citizen, housewives to top athlete, slim to obese, civilian to military, and so on. I am ready to conduct the presentation and trials of my inventions. I am confident you will be impressed and will want to utilize in profitable business my patents for FITNESS, BRAIN TRAINING, MEMORY TRAINING, TRAINING SPEED OF ANY SPORT ACTIONS, REACTIONS and CORE MUSCLES for good health and mood.

Reading This Will Change Your Brain

Is technology changing our brains? A new study by UCLA neuroscientist Gary Small adds to a growing body of research that says it is. And according to Small's new book, "iBRAIN: Surviving the Technological Alteration of the Modern Mind," a dramatic shift in how we gather information and communicate with one another has touched off an era of rapid evolution that may ultimately change the human brain as we know it. "Perhaps not since early man first discovered how to use a tool has the human brain been affected so quickly and so dramatically," he writes.

The brain's plasticity—IT IS ABILITY TO CHANGE IN RESPONSE TO DIFFERENT STIMULI—is well known. Professional musicians have more gray matter in brain regions responsible for planning finger movements. And athletes' brains are bulkier in areas that control hand-eye coordination. That's because THE MORE TIME YOU DEVOTE TO A SPECIFIC ACTIVITY, THE STRONGER THE NEURAL PATHWAYS RESPONSIBLE FOR EXECUTING THAT ACTIVITY.

"The vestibular system's motor responses are executed through many vestibular REFLEXES which are generally inborn, fast and purposive".  Page 103.

"Sensory massages from the periphery reach the primary sensory cortex, where their location and intensity are analyzed. The impulses are then directed to the association sensory cortex, where the signals are interpreted for necessary actions. Then signals are communicated to the motor association area, where appropriate programs and patterns of motor actions are generated and directed to PMC (primary motor cortex), which execute movement and action".     Page 97.
